Article 266
National Security Council
: (1) There will be a National Security Council with the following chairman and members to formulate policies related to the overall national interest, security and defense of Nepal and to make recommendations to the Government of Nepal and the Council of Ministers for the mobilization or control of the Nepali Army:-< br> (a) Prime Minister – Chairman
(b) Minister of Defense of the Government of Nepal – Member
(c) Minister of Home Affairs of the Government of Nepal – Member
(d) Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Nepal - Member
(e) Minister of Finance of the Government of Nepal - Member
(f) Chief Secretary to the Government of Nepal – Member
(g) Commander-in-Chief, Nepalese Army – Member
(2) The Secretary of the Ministry of Defense shall act as the Member-Secretary of the National Security Council (3) The National Security Council shall submit its annual report to the President and the President shall cause such report to be submitted to the Federal Parliament through the Prime Minister.
(4) Other arrangements related to the National Security Council shall be in accordance with federal law.
